I found the official user manual online, unfortunately, the poorly translated English is still leaving us with issues, we're unable to figure out a couple of things:
1. Returning from breakpoint. 2. Using the distance mode.
Any help would be appreciated!

The manuals are not translated...they were written from scratch based upon very little information provided by the controller manufacturers.
With the new B58 controller, there have been very few changes at all.
When a BreakPoint has been saved....it can easily be returned to at any point from the main coordinate screen by holding down the RUN button, pressing #1....then letting go of both.
You will then see the line of gcode where that break happened. You can either press OK to move on and start from that location in which you would see the familiar screen showing WORK SPD, FAST SPD etc.
Or you could also press the RUN button again and be given the opportunity to enter a specific line number....
*This comes in handy if a bit has broken, allowing you to resume work from any location.
With Distance mode, you simply press the MODE button until Dist is displayed. Then enter the desired distance in mm and press OK.
Afterwards, just press the direction button such as X+ to make the machine move the desired distance in the X+ direction.
This mode is time sensitive, in which it will go back to continuous mode after it sits for more than a few seconds.
