Hi All,
Is there available a dust shoe with longer bristles ? The standard shoe with 3 inch bristles is not effective with 4 inch bits.
Thanks Ron

Use your CNC to carve out a couple of pieces of 3/4" plywood in the shape of the outer "ring" of the dust shoe, pocket the holes for magnets on each side in the same place they are on the dust shoe, get some neodymium rare earth magnets the same size that the dust shoe has on it and "stack" one (or two) extensions between the dust shoe base and the bristle base when you need to use longer bits, thus lowering the bristles. Voila...and you can say "I made it myself". You might also investigate the strength of your dust collection system and see if maybe you need to up the airflow.
I'm not sure if the magnets would keep the whole contraption together (with the added weight), so consider using a couple of small C-Clamps to ensure that the whole contraption doesn't fall off while you're cutting.
