Had my machine for about a month, had to do a bunch of electrical work and get it inspected before use..turned on the machine for the first time yesterday. Tested things out and all was well.
Today I went to run a program and the spindle did not start. I hit stop and tried turning it on and off manually but it won't come on. It did yesterday so I don't know what could have changed between then and now. The stop light is on on the vfd but the controller says spindle on. I tried combinations of buttons on the vfd but nothing works.
Anyone know where the fuses are located to check?

I solved my own issue. The connection for the handheld controller was just barely seated on the bottom end. When I wiggled it then the spindle started working.
The screw for the connection to keep it tight won't get very tight and it must have pulled out when I was moving things around. The top screw goes in fine though and is tight.
Hope it helps someone else. I'll have to email them about it.

Follow up after email: it appears that I completely missed the fact that one end of the controller is contoured to the bottom of the handheld controller. I flipped it around with the end I had in the machine and everything screwed in tight... That's what working on things in the morning after a midnight shift gets you..

Thanks for your posts and following up with how you fixed it. I'm sure this will happen again to someone, and maybe your post will help them out.
