It's ain't cheap, but if you already have an investment in CNC, then it looks really cool to be able to hook a 44W laser to it. I have the one through Axiom (4.2W) and it is fine for engraving...but man would it be nice to CUT stuff.
I asked if there is a way to use the same controller/wiring/support for both the new and old devices. I'll report back if I find anything.
And yes, I know that there won't be any control for the power output on this machine. That's ok as there is a manual control on the device and i can fine tune it with speed.
PS- If anyone has any experience with this, that would be appreciated. I know it's new.
