Due to the many views on tramming the CNC machine, I would like to check my machine and need to know that my machine is true and flat. I've checked and adjusted the level and resurfaced my spoilboard. Now I would like to check my other measurements, X and Y axis, to be sure that the spindle is running true. I could not find any info on tramming the Axiom CNC, but found info for other CNC machines. Can anyone help me get info on checking and of course adjusting, if needed, the X and Y axis on this machine the AR6 PRO V5.
Of course - many thanks!!

In the most basic, you can put a piece of wire in the collet at a right angle. Bend it until it just touches the spoilboard. Rotate the spindle, and the amount of rise/fall of the wire tip will tell you the quality of the tram. Crude, but effective. You then shim the spindle head until true. I like to get a little more accurate and use this tram TRAM. Tram video
