Hi there, I already tried to save a breakpoint when I stop in the middle of a job. Works great.
But I want to save a break point as a starting point...I want to do some multicolor epoxy inlays and therefore I will need to wait at least 24 hours between cuts. So, I installed a spoilboard with some pins that ensure the piece is on the same place every time. Now, how do you proceed with the spindle position? I now the origin position stays the same after shut down. But what if I cut something different in btw?
One option, as allways when I turn it on I home it. Then, when I do the first cut, I position the spindle and write those coordinates down before zeroing it. So, the next cut I only need to go to those coordinates after turning the machine on and homing it, and zero them and start cutting.
Is there a faster way to store that position ?
Thanks
