Bit jammed, causing issues. Inverter red display lights not

Dear all

We had a router part jam in to some material. 

The machine shut itself down by the motor be stopped. 

I have done a restart and the following happens, or doesn't happen. 

No light on LCD of handheld controller, or communication between it and the white box. 

And

The red 9 segment inverter display doesn't light up. 

Having read through  many posts on here and doing checks, my fear is a broken inverter. 

I've plug the handheld in to a PC via USB, and it lights up and appears to work. 

I've checked fuses and they appear to be fine....

Any advice?

Have you checked the fuses? When you open the cabinet there are four fuses near the bottom of the box where the wires exit. When I've had something like that happen, one or two of the fuses have blown.
