I'm trying to get an LED kit connected to my new AR-16. Chad sent me a crimp connector that needs to go to a 24V supply in the gantry. I sent him pic of our wire bundle and he told me where to place the connector but NO DICE. I then tried to find ANY 24V source in that wire bundle with no luck. The pendant runs on 24V, I believe. Any idea? I opened up the component drawer in the back, but I don't see any fuses back there. Is there a fuse block?
Just FYI, here is a source for these crimp connectors that are used in the LED kit. RED is the + wire, BLACK is ground. I put the LED strip on my bench supply and it works fine. I simply can't find any 24v line in this gantry yet and don't want to poke around too much without some schematics or layout drawing. Which BOTH would be very handy for us that live thousands of miles from a service tech. www.amazon.ca/.../B017FT.../ref=ox_sc_act_title_1...

I found the fuse block. Note to the uninitiated: position the gantry to full +Y to allow the component tray (the wire track is no longer extended to -Y/Home, duh) to come all the way out. The fuse box and power supply terminals are low and in the back of the tray. So, I have +24 at the right spot on the terminal block, yellow wire. I have no continuity from that terminal connection to the gantry Molex. Sadly, this is smelling like a broken wire in the cable harness.

A cautionary tale: I fixed the problem. It turns out that the "accessory" molex connector that Chad had directed me to was NOT terminated at all in the component box. I found the proper voltage at the terminal strip but couldn't find the wires on the gantry coming to it. Finally I took the top off of the wire trays and found these 4 homeless un-terminated wires folded up in there.
Strip them, put them on the proper terminals and, voila, we have LED lighting. Looks great.
