Hello Everyone, I have my Axiom Pro V5 Series. I have not read, nor can I find any information on how to perform a graceful shutdown of the computer. I really would not use the green switch every time. That is not a graceful shutdown process.
Does anyone have information on how to perform a graceful shutdown from the controller?
Thank You in advance
Andrew

The white box on the Pro Series, or any CNC, is not really a computer, it's just a place to store all the hardware to make the machine work. There is no software running. Everything happens in firmware which is flashed into chips, when it's on it runs, when it's off it doesn't run. So, there is no graceful shut down, or is there one needed. It's kind of like a microwave, turns on and does it's thing, then shuts off.

Thank You Sir. I was kind of figuring that from some of the really old CNC machines I have been in the 80's. It just seems that is still hard on the hardware. But I guess it can take it with some filters setup to smooth out the sine wave.
Have a nice day
