When you do get a spray gun, get something with a large orifice - a 2.3mm tip is what I use for gelcoats and HDU primer. I tend to stick with the cheap ones since my cleaning practices eventually do the gun in (particularly with gelcoats which are really hard to clean). www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200319459_200319459I'm sure Harbor Freight has something similar and I wouldn't hesitate to go that route too...particularly if it's just for shooting primer.

I just did one and my paint isnt that clean. I used latex and it seemed hard to work with. How did you get the letters so sharp.

I'm new here so I have been looking at a lot of the old posts. Never did see an answer to your comment just a few months ago. Based on my experience with carving and painting Corian, I am going to guess that he may have sprayed the entire face and then sanded the high spots (letters and boarder) to reveal the base material below. I use this technique with Corian mostly but have also done it with wood with painted letters and natural surround.
