So i have a project at work, were i need to make corn hole game with the logo of the University of Hawaii on it. the logo has three levels to it, how would you guys go about setting this cut up? Should i just have the white layer be the surface material and then have the green and black layer be cut into the wood? Link to image

From what I'm seeing from some of the logos posted there are three layers (colors) - silver or grey, black, white and green.

What are you going to fill that with in order to have a smooth finish?

well for this one its a one off for a golf tournament that my company is having a booth setup for clients. so i wasn't going to fill it at all, but consider it a sand trap like feature. But i have others that i am making and i will be filling them with colored epoxy.
I may try something, we will see.

PVC Sign board (available through Grimco.com and others) would work great as an inlay there. Comes in metric (3mm, 6mm, etc). It cuts like butter and not too terribly expensive (around $100 / sht for 6mm). I run a graphics/sign company.

Got it painted, hard to tell it was a CNC project.

Sand trap feature, that's a good one. It looks great. I've made a few cornhole boards and I don't generally fill the cuts, but then mine are fairly narrow Vgrooves that I'm hoping the bags don't catch on.

Hey Redwood, did you just use the same stain over the whole thing? Here are two more I just finished up tonight. And a picture of how close my bit came to my clamps. I need to try some of the low profile clamps I have seen some of you use.

Yes, I use gel stains, which after I wipe off, leaves more stain in the cuts. It works great for 3D models, as well.
