When using the laser and making quick small movements there is a knocking inside the gantry housing that I have narrowed down to the coolant pump wobbling on its flexible mount and coming into contact with the side of the gantry. Does it need this much movement or would it be ok to place a thin piece of foam between it and the metal side so it is not banging into the gantry so hard? It only does this when lasering and the travel speed is relatively high and movements are short and quick, seems fine whe carving at lower speeds.

When I am ingraving using Annabelle script font I keep getting small holes on the right side of my "o"s at 3 oclock. I am using a 60 degree v bit cutting .11 in. deep. Is this a good bit for script? Text is 1.1 in. high. Running 50 in. per min. Anyone have any suggestions?

The coolant pump doesn't need to move, the flexible mount is probably more for shock dampening for the pump.

Thanks Cletus...there's a button in the upper right corner of the "reply" window called "add attachment" that you can use to attach the file...if the file is too big then you can ZIP it (compress it) and try it again...if still too big then you'll have to get a "dropbox" account (https://www.dropbox.com)...(free to start) and upload it there, copy the link then add the link to your reply. Be sure the folder you create on dropbox is designated as "public" so others can access it without a password or invitation.
