Guess this is still an issue. I just received my machine and had the same issue. I've worked with similar LED lights in the past on projects so I'm confident the surface prep was correct. Needless to say it held for about 30 seconds before it released. I used 3M Trim tape from the local auto parts store. It's always worked well in the past, but by far not the cheapest option.

Also ran into a snag with the connects. They don't seem to match up. It's the only open plug so I'm assuming this is correct, but can you say square peg in round hole? Figured I would mention it in case someone else ran into it and scratched their head as well.

That should be the correct connection...
Unfortunately there was a change from the wire harness supplier, which we are working to make correct so that all machines and models use the same connector.
These two connections will still fit together and can still be used, but will fit very snugly.

They do fit... sort of kindaish
I've also noticed the connection isn't very secure. if you wiggle it the lights can drop voltage but I can live with that. I just have to make sure I tuck them in just right when I assemble the side panel.
I do have to admit I'm disappointed to hear this was a known problem, and they were sent out regardless, but you're right, they do "Work". Between this and the vacuum pods I got there seems to be a bit of finger pointing at your suppliers having issues. Love the machine so far as a whole, but if you guys are going to slap your name on a product then you own it. Problems and all even the accessories. I do however appreciate the willingness to make it right and own the fact that there are problems. Thanks for the help!

We recognize the problem for sure...unfortunately, we did not become aware of the difference in these connectors until after the changes. Leaving us to make further changes to either the LED kits moving forward or to the wire harnesses.
With these light strips, we take full responsibility and do what is needed to make them right.
Regarding that....looking at the picture, it looks like one of the female pins on the machine side of that connection is stretched open. This is what is probably causing your weird connection.
You may be able to close that and tighten the fit.
You have our apologies for any difficulty you have experienced with the Vacuum pods...That particular item, we do not manufacturer. But we are happy to address any problems that you've experienced.
In most cases that I'm aware of, it's simply a leaking issue resulting in the bolts not being seated squarely.
