So this just started happening and it’s really odd. Every time I plug in my thumb drive, the same drive I always use, the controller reboots. Anyone else have this problem? I blew out the USB port on the controller with air and visually I don’t see anything in there that would cause a short.

I noticed early on that the controller didn't recognize the thumb drive if I tried inserting it while the machine was running so I got in the habit of inserting it before starting the machine and no problems since...I also wait till the machine shuts down before removing it...

I must be lucky, because I've had zero issues with USB drive (knock on wood). I insert/remove it often, all while the machine is on. I would be pretty put out if I had to shut the power off each time I had to insert/remove it.

Well, it seems to have stopped reacting this way. Not sure what the real issue was.

I have encountered this when static was present...with it being winter and dry static could be the most likely cause. (It supposed to be spring now, right?)
Please let us know if it continues to happen.
