So I think I have dialed into the proper feed and speed for cutting my material, but there is one part of the operation that isn't quite working right and i have no idea how to change it, or what it's called for that matter. When the machine is cutting a pocket and returns to the start point it slides out to start the next cut. That little jog is going way too fast for the material and I'm not sure where to change that setting. Any ideas?
Running V-Carve Pro on an AR8.
Thanks in advance! Chris

When you are cutting a pocket, you set the feed rate when you select the cutter. If the pocket cut is like a 2x2" square, the feed rate should be slower, like 50 ipm. When you are cutting a larger pocket, you can use a faster feed rate and it will slow itself down when it gets to a corner. In that same tool selector box, you can also set for a climb or conventional cut. Just look at the menu's. Vectric has some great tutorials for getting started. Anytime I get stuck, I go back and watch another video.
