I didn't want to plug in my puck every time I had to zero a bit. I made a small cup and stuck it, with some double sided tape, to the top left pillar of the gantry. It holds the pick nicely and moves with the gantry and is always plugged in.

nice - is there anywhere you can stick it on the toolbox/stand? so it doesn't move around while cutting... still waiting on my machine.

If you put it on the toolbox, then the wire flexes with the gantry movement. This could cause premature failure. The plug for the puck is on the back side of this pillar, so there is no wire movement.

With almost 2 years of use with my ARpro6, I just set the puck on the lower rail of my stand. No issues, so far.

Since I have a habit of putting things in different places this puck holder would be a good idea for me. I've been using a Shark CNC and I just left that puck on the work table. It was always getting itself attached to anything it's magnet liked. Thank you for sharing.

I've had the recent occurrence that once the Z is set, the Z axis travels to the top and goes past the sensor, losing my Z (and/or setting it incorrectly). So my new puck holder is my tool box across the room. My new puck is a thin piece of paper. But I am stubborn and old school.

Lynkspyder, I use a piece of paper as well (wax paper from double sided tape) and I keep it in one of the t-slots on the table, so it's always handy. Or until the dust collector eats it.

Hi Everyone, here is another idea for a Puck holder. I utilized the top 2 screws that hold the cover onto the gantry to mount a small wooden holder. Works good. Attachments:
