Hello all, New member here. Maintenance Technician for a plastics extrusion companies that uses a CNC router to test sheet quality. We have an AR4 ProV5. Having a lot of issues with the Z-axis. A few months ago, we had the Y-axis motor fail and the machine has been down since. We recently went through a sale so some ordering of parts got lost in translation. To me, it seems like the machine doesn’t know how much room it has to go on the Z-axis. I can move the spindle along the Z-axis, but I get stopped well short of the end of the ball screw with a Z-soft limit error. The. Z-axis will not go down far enough to even touch the workpiece before that alarm hits. The Parameters for Z-axis are as follows: -Table length:150mm, pulse equivalent:1280.000 Just for reference the table length for X,Y axis is 610mm, and pulse equivalent for X,Y axis is 1280.000
I appreciate any and all help!
