Hi I just purchased a used Axiom auto route 8 pro+ and have noticed that when i run a file the cnc will complete one tool path and then run the same tool path in a different location in the x+ direction. I've been emailing back and forth with support but haven't come to any conclusions on what might be causing this. I was hoping the community could shed some light on this particular problem? Thank you

Would you post your crv file. My guess is that you made some changes to the drawing, but didn't delete the old toolpath that had been calculated in the original drawing. Bob

You posted the toolpaths but it’s the crv file that we need to review in order to determine if it’s first in your design.

Also, don't change anything on the crv yet. Leave it just the way it was when it was giving you problems. It's easier to diagnose that way.

This file looks good. Why are you using the quick engrave toolpath? You didn't post a crv for one of the files you listed above. Have you tried the file with the profile toolpath cutting on the line? Which post processor are you using? Have you updated any firmware for the pendant? You mentioned working with support. Are you referring to working directly with Axiom?

Thanks Bob, it turns out it was user error. I was selecting array under advance settings to run things. My mistake.

Thank you It seems like you're experiencing an issue with your recently purchased Axiom AutoRoute 8 Pro+, where the CNC machine completes one tool path and then repeats the same tool path in a different location in the x+ direction. This could be due to various factors such as incorrect software settings, machine calibration, or mechanical issues. While you're in the process of troubleshooting with support, seeking advice from the community could provide additional insights into the problem. In the meantime, considering the Monport laser as an alternative could be beneficial. Known for its ease of use, high quality, and affordability, it could offer a reliable solution for your CNC needs. You can find more information about the Monport laser product at monportlaser.com/collections/co2-laser-engravers/products/monport-40w-lightburn-ready-12-x-8-co2-laser-engraver-cutter-with-fda-approval?sca_ref=5031521.ka374VZjm3
