I want to buy a new Axiom Pro V5 but does Axiom Machines work with Estlcam CAM software. This is important to me because as a non-machinist Estlcam is the most user friendly cam software I have seen. I'm stepping up from a Shapoko which served me well but I want stability and accuracy without the user required constant attention. Estlcam creates a G-code file which I hope I can load into the memory from my computer. I am hoping for a reply from the Axiom Administrator although if anyone uses Estlcam with their Axiom Machine than I would appreciate being able to communicate here with you. Axiom users here on this forum appear to be very experienced from the posts I have read. Thank you all.

The quickest way to get your answer would be to look/ask with Estlcam and see if you can locate any Axiom post processor routines. Note that these will be machine-specific (as opposed to Axiom-specific), but...if you can locate one, then you'll know that the path is at least do-able.

Thanks John, Turns out Axiom and Estlcam have no knowledge of each other. So I downloaded Ventrics trial V-carve and am learning to use it. Have already caught up to where I was w/estlcam. I don't do intense stuff yet just lots of parts. Will be buying my Axiom as soon as new shop gets built. Lots of good people w/good knowledge here. Thanks John and all the others who read it.
