While this isn't technically a pure CNC project, I did use my AR8 to carve all the pieces and the bolt holes all lined up first time! A fresh Amanna 1/4" end mill and Redwood helped me approach 150 ipm which is a new high for me. Cool! Adirondack chairs are cool..until you are 80+. Then you need a crane and a winch to get out of them. I did not design this...but I did modify it with thicker lumber (1" vs 3/4) and milled all the stock from a single 3" x 13.5" x 8' piece of curly redwood. It's taller than a std. Adirondack with a narrower seat so it's easier on the knees and hips. REALLY comfy and because it's redwood, very light. Considered making it collapsible, but decided it should always be up and ready to work. Tim PS- Search "TheBarleyHarvest" for the raw plans. You can get either the electronic version on Etsy or the traditional patterns.

I have to say, I've worked with redwood for over 40 years and always threw out the "curly" redwood. Nothing good ever came of using it for me. Of course my experience was mostly decks and arbors, but now signs as well.
But your chair looks great.
