Anyone know anything about this? I'm thinking it's a feature that either doesn't work on my machine or I'm totally misunderstanding it's purpose.

Morning. I did some homework and found the Chinese version of the Controller manual. The ONLY OFFSET it mentions is using it for spindle work. Otherwise, the main instruction manual from Axiom talks about using OFFSET as origins, which is what I think most of us are doing. If you set an origin, and then need to move it a specific amount, you can do that but setting the spindle to that origin, pressing the MODE key until it says Dist then programming in the specific distance you want the spindle to move. Then when you touch X, Y, or Z the spindle will move exactly that distance.
Sorry if you already knew that, but this hopefully is another way to get it done when the offset function in the controller isn't working for you. Good luck. Tim
