I am having a problem I have two pieces of material on my table and would like to locate the origins on each and designate them as Origin 1 & Origin 2 “The Manual Reads” The RichAuto controller allows multiple offsets (Origins) to be programmed. Where the #1 found before each axis identifies the coordinate state the controller is in. Each coordinate state can have a unique programmed Origin. After finding the 1st origin on my work I set the x/y coordinate I see this on my controller “The Manual Reads” To switch between coordinate states, press MENU & (any number 1-9). The coordinate screen will change and show that set of coordinates. I press the Menu & number 1 and this is what I see on my controller This not a set of coordinates that I can save Obviously I am missing something?. How can I do this . Thank you in advance for any explanation offered

Do you have more than 1 origin set? Hold Menu key and hit '1' key. Menu+2 for 2nd origin.

search this message board for the thread "Set XY Origin"...there may be something in there that causes your light bulb to go on

Hi Barry. I think I know out what you did. You pressed "menu" without simultaneously pressing "1".
When you press "menu" the following tree displays
Machine Setup Auto Pro Setup System Setup Operate File Version View
Then you pressed "1" which acted as an upward directional arrow which navigated you up the tree to the selection "Version View". Use your "Stop/Cancel" to get out of there. Then you need to press "Menu" and hold down while pressing "1" or "2" or whichever Coordinate State you want.

Correct...to switch machine coordinate states, pressing MENU and any number must be down perfectly together....otherwise the controller will register which ever button was pressed first.
Kind of tricky I know...but if you hold down the MENU button, then press the number desired....letting go of both together, then you should see that #1 change to the new #.
There should be a bullet point in the manual discussing this, but it could be overlooked, however, there are currently some updates happening with the manuals....I'll double check as to how that was worded to make sure its more clear.
