Turned my machine on this am and the internal memory does not work anymore.
Initially, I tried copying a file from USB to SD like I always do. But, trying to past the file to the SD memory leads to a Disk Error 0.4A. Also, simply trying to access / read the internal SD memory no longer works. All I got was a blank screen not showing any of the files in memory (picture 1).
Then, I unplugged the machine from the wall and plugged it back in. Now the files list appears again on the screen but trying to run any of them leads to the same Error Code 04.A (picture 2). Trying to paste a file into SD memory also leads to the same error.
The USB option still works. I can see and run files from the USB. However, my files are very large and I am not confident (based on past experience.....) running them from the USB drive directly.
Anyone experienced this before?
Waiting on Chad to respond to my voice mail....

Have you tried a different USB? This is from your manual:
Error Code Details Causes 04 A USB/SDC ERROR—FR_DISK_ERR B USB/SDC ERROR—FR_INT_ERR C USB/SDC ERROR—FR_NOT_READY D USB/SDC ERROR—FR_NO_FILE E USB/SDC ERROR—FR_NO_PATH F USB/SDC ERROR—FR_INVALID_NAME G USB/SDC ERROR—FR_DENIED H USB/SDC ERROR—FR_EXIST I USB/SDC ERROR—FR_INVALID_OBJECT J USB/SDC ERROR—FR_WRITE_PROTECTED K USB/SDC ERROR—FR_INVALID_DRIVE L USB/SDC ERROR—FR_NOT_ENABLED M USB/SDC ERROR—FR_NO_FILESYSTEM N USB/SDC ERROR—FR_MKFS_ABORTED O USB/SDC ERROR—FR_TIMEOUT Recommended Remedy: 1. Please make sure that the USB format is FAT and that the file extension is correct (.cnc) 2. Try another USB drive 3. Please contact the Axiom Technical Services

Chad agrees that it is very likely a SD card (internal memory) error. Solution not clear at this point. I'll update this once I know more.

Guess that's the SDC of the USB/SDC in the error listings above. Would having free space on the USB help run a file? I know the USBs I use have very little used space and lots of free space. But, I'm not really cutting large, complex jobs.

I have some old USB drives that are 256 meg and they seem to always work and really hold a ton of mmg files

Agree.... all these years later, I wish I had not thrown out these old small thumb drives.... I remember the days when I thought a 16MB stick was quite the 'thing'.... ;-)

I still have the SD card reader that plugs into a USB port. May try using it and see what action I get. I'll have to find an older SD card for it. Just for fun. I have plenty of the older USB thumb drives. Don't think I have any of the itty bitty drives.

Do all the Axiom machines have a internal SD card in them and if so where are they located?

Quick update: In the end, Axiom replaced my controller (which includes the SD memory)..... Now my internal (SD) memory is working again :-)
