I just received my new AR8 Pro machine and after setting up I went through the manual to better understand the controller function keys . My Controller keypad doesn't represent the controller shown and discussed in the operating manual sent with the machine . They show a Controller with 4 rows of buttons and mine has 6 rows . What does " Break Work", "Tool Set", "Advanced Function" , "Repeat Machining", "XY=0" , "ZC=0" . I can guess but would like to know before I proceed . The Manual indicates using keys 4 & 8 are used for setting origins for Z & X axis but is that right when I also have "XY=0" , "ZC=0" Keys . I understand the F! & F2 keys are special control keys which was indicated in another thread posted that I read Is there a location that I could determine the functions of AutoRich controller shipped with my machine

Best suggestion is to call Chad at Axiom! They have said they need to update the manual for that controller, but I have not seen that happen. He will help you.

There are several different controllers on the market for these machines each with a unique manual.
The Basic and older original Pro series machines as well as all Powermatic machines...use the 3-Axis RichAuto A11.
Current Pro+ machines use the 4th Axis supporting RichAuto B18. (2 Versions of the manual available since the button mapping had changed).
Newer Basic models and the soon to be released i2R machines will be using a newer 3-Axis only RichAuto B11.
And of course, all Elite machines are using the Hust Servo control.
We apologize if anyone has received an incorrect manual. If this is the case, please contact us and we will be happy to email you the correct version.

HI,
I having an issue when I select the home button my x,y,z message comes up on the controller "waiting" and nothing happens. I have tried zeroing 1x, 1y, and 1z. Then hitting the home button again and get the same message?

If you are using a B18 controller on a Pro+ machine....then the controller may be looking for the A-axis.
Without the A-axis connected, it won't be able to find it....so you can either scroll further down on that initial All Axes HOME screen and select the XYZ HOME Only.
Or cancel the HOME operation, then go into the MENU and select the Machine setup. Choose the HOME Setup and select the HOME order....then scroll down the list to find and select the Z, X and Y option.
Afterwards, you should be able to back out and do a HOME All command.
