HI, Was just sitting here getting ready for the next project and thought I would drop you guys a line to see if any of you are having the same problem as I am with the RichAuto-AutoNow=A11E. The Cnc (AR6 pro) is working fine and has gave me trouble free service since I got it over two years ago. The thing that is bugging me is the hand held unit you can use it and it goes to all the different directory’s ok but it is very hard to read sometimes. Its like all the little Square's that make up the screen and come on to form the letters and numbers don’t come up to full power to make the Square the darkest it can. The hand held started this a while back and it don’t seam tb be getting worse as of now. But was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and it there is something short of buying a new handheld that could be done? I have added some pic’s of the screen so you can see what I mean. Thanks! Rich (Sawdust) 7/30/2019 Attachments:HI.docx (10.56 KB)

We've had some controllers sent in for testing with similar faint displays or flickering screens...and have found that the screen was simply not plugged in all the way.
Most are plugged in using pins and not ribbon cables (so this should not really happen) but it appears that if lifted slightly off those pins, these symptoms may appear.
You may be able to simply squeeze or rather apply some pressure just under the screen (between the screen and the keypad)...while watching the screen and you may see that the LCD becomes more clear.
Feel free to open the controller, blow out any dust....remove and reseat the screen.
*If desired, you can also send the handheld itself in for testing....if the screen is failing, we have replacement screens which can be installed for I believe less than $40
