I was able to make something tonight with a pocket, this is only the 3rd time I have used the machine successfully. its nothing like the wonderful projects you guys make but I am super proud of it. LOL

Nice! Don't be afraid to make scrap. When I first started, I screwed up a bunch of stuff that I tried, but my friends thought they were great and took the ones that could be salvaged. I still screw up from time to time, but that's why I have extra material, extra bits, and a tough machine.

Agreed; looks fantastic! I like the contrast of the black against the wood grain.
A slightly smaller diameter endmill will get rid of those tiny leftover bits near the 'S' and 'E' letters, but I kind of like the little flairs on those letters more than a smooth edge.
